Hi i have a trickflow stage 1 cam, and my distributor is an Accel, but recentlythe distributor gear mashed like 4 teeth.
before i had a flat tappet cam with this dizzy.

i think the gear messed up when i change from flat tappet to hydro.
what gear should i get for my accel ( carb) dizzy , to match the trickflow stage 1 cam

a flat tappet cam uses a cast iron gear..where as the roller cams uses a steel gear

do you think thats why my dizzy cam sheared some teeth,

also can u direct me to a certain part number on summit or somewere

if you had a roller cam mated to a cast iron gear then yes..it need s a steel gear

you'll need to make sure that the shaft diameter is the correct size...but this is the one I used for my 85...you'll have to drill a hole for the roll pin to slide into both sides
