WIRES EVERYWHERE!!!

RE: WIRES EVERYWHERE!!!
im trying to send 12 volts to the clutch output. pin-85 gets the starter output from system, pin-86 gets the 3rd ignition output from system. pin-87 get constant power and pin-30 goes to the clutch wire that needs power.
I think this should do it. Im gonna try it and see. Ill let you knwo how it goes

Or by connecting to the wire that switches the relay when you turn the key tocrank.

RE: WIRES EVERYWHERE!!!
I was going to agree with him but he beat me to it... I bypassed the clutch in my truck by going straight to the starter relay but this was only after I had installed a safety switch so it would not crank in gear. A 5.0 cranking will do some serious damage....
I don't think the way you have it described will work as a ign #3 is for accesories that are not necessary while cranking(ac and heat for example). That wire is normally only energized after it starts.

By connecting to the starter relay, the side that gets hot in crank.

RE: WIRES EVERYWHERE!!!
my way worked. I can remote start without pushing the clutch.
And when you use the key the clutch must be pushed.
This means that when using the key there is no way to have a start in gear.
It could still in remote start but im working on that.
Making a switch that will only let the system crank when shifter is in neutral.

RE: WIRES EVERYWHERE!!!
I got a nuetral safety switch years ago from a company called TRC, the right connection. It was a nuetral safety switch that was a simple2 wayswitch connected to a small cable. I mounted it in front of the stick, and wrapped the cable around the stick and clamped it. The connection for the switch was in the very middle, and if you put it in gear it would then open the connection. I grounded one side and connected it to the nuetral safety wire on the remote start and I was done.
