I always get more smoke out of one side.

Do you have an x or h pipe?

Did it just start smoking or has it been getting worse over time? My valve stem seals are getting a bit worn and on startup I get a little smoke and it's mainly on one side (stock exhaust).

with an H pipe you will usually get more on just one side from the coorsponding bank.

i currently have an h pipe with 2 cats on each side and planning on switching to a catless x pipe and wanted to fix this first, it is a white smoke and even after driving for about 45 minutes home last night it was still doing it, and when feeling inside the exhaust it is a little moist

Think you might have a head gasket problem. Might not be amazingly serious but thin you might have one
