haha my car is puting down 450 rwhp untuned with a stock t-5 and its holding up pretty good...

OK next quick question, how hard is it to swap the input shaft from my old t5? Or maybe I should ask, how long should it take once the tranny is out?
As I'm understanding this, any Fox platform 5.0 t5 up to '95 should fit my '95 with input shaft swap and plugging the neutral switch. Are all 5.0 t5s equipped with the same gearing?
not hard at all...youll need a press tho unless the new input shaft ur puttin in has the bearing on it already. i did this literally2 days ago...ten minutes...take the bearing retainer off...and with tranny straight up.pull it out...dont let anything move tho inside...and yes fox trannys are the same as sn95s except for the input shaft length and theres a hole for that neutral switch..we just put a plug in it works fine

Thanks much! Yeah, I'll just use the shaft and bearing from the old tranny, unless advised not to.
Then I'll take a crack at rebuilding the replaced t5 with better innards, again unless advised not to.

not advised at all if you dont know what you are doing. but highly advised to swap out the inerds with an Astro A5 gear kit. and have a proffesional do it
