Default just a quick question

hey guys so i need a new serpintine belt(dont know if spelled correctly) so i was wondering if i could just get a new belt that deletes the a/c and just throw it on. Or do i have to take the a/c off of the car. if your confused just tell me cause i dont know if that makes to much sense. thanks guys!

the belt will rub the underside of the a/c compressor pulley if you don't remove it quite possibly ...actually no it wouldn'y I just looked at mine...it'd butt up against the other side of the one that wraps around the water pump...the best way to solve all this is get a a/c eliminator kit and it moves the ps up to new position = works well

so to be safe would you just do the reg stock surpintine belt? I think thats what i want to do. i dont want to mess to much with that until i really start building the motor.
