Default cant figure the cause of the problem out

i have been trying to track down exactly what is causing this and have came up empty.

1. losing coolant and having to refill every day or two
2. doesnt seem to be having any water circulating thru the motor even after warming up for 15-20 minutes but doesnt overheat. top radiator hose doesnt even get hot and when took the radiator hose off after the car ran it was bone dry.
3. moisture andmore smokein the right exhaust pipe but not in the left. we have tested pressure in the system for a head gasket leak and it doesnt seem to be the problem because there was still pressure.

im not exactly sure if it is infact a head gasket leak or a bad radiator or if the radiator just needs to be flushed? if anybody has any ideas or anything i can try to pinpoint the cause of this it would be greatly appreciated..thanks in advance.

i would say head gasket leak has your oil level changed any the coolant may be going in to the crank case

Um, is your thermostat opening? Also, is your pump working, it may be siezed. And It's hard to figure where that much coolant is going and you don't see any leak????

you have tested pressure in the system but there still was pressure?? you mean you pressure tested the system properly with a radiator pressure tester and no leak down occured right?? I hope that's what you did and mean[&:]....as for the loss of coolant...you can go to your local parts store and ask for a block test kit....which will detect hydrocarbons in the cooling system and confirm a blown head gasket

It's either a cacked head, or head gasket leak. Drain your oil, and see if it's all milky, and/or all water. My buddy is having the EXACT same problem, and he thinks it's a head gasket.

Or it could be a water pump issue.

if you have steam out of a tailpipe its a pretty safe bet you have a cracked head or a head gasket. you wouldnt detect a small leak with a pressure test unless you let it sit awhile.

well the water pump and thermostat was replaced about a month ago and no visual leaks and no we havent properly pressure tested it, my dads friend has one and i need to get it tested just havent done so but after turning the car off and opening the radiator top there was still pressure and my dads friend said that is one way to test but cant guarantee.

alright well update and the smoke has recently stopped out of the tailpipes once the car has warmed up, i took the radiator out of the car and had it checked flushed at the local junk yard. they said that i should test the water pump because i just replaced it and i could of got a water pump that is not for my car even though it looks like it. does anybody know how i can test it without removing the thermostat because they said that is one way to do it. but id rather not have to remove the thermostat.
