wiring q?

does the 86 5.0 wiring plug into a 2.3 by the brake booster or is their a difference. then switch computers?

not quite that simple...the 2.3 harness is completely different and to do it right..it's best to get a complete 5.0 harness and wire it in

i was told i just need the engine harnes and com. and not mess with the rest of the dash wires.
