so it turns out i dont need to know how to take that line out, i just jacked up the motor.

NOW the issue is the back tubes(both sides) wont line up, the header is 4 indi. tubes at the block.is that a shipping error or a installer error?

Neither, those headers are prone to warpage (are they new?) If not, then they are probably warped slightly. I have heard of people somehow prying them into place, but end up having header exhaust leaks. Are they new headers?

Got it. I'm assuming he lowered the engine back down? I've got the mac long tubes and have had them off several times with no problems with exhaust leaks or lining up. It could be a factory default?

This might be a dumb idea, but would something like a ratcheting tie down strap work to suck 'em back in while you put the bolts in?

As far as leaks go, good gaskets will seal just about anything and you don't have to remove the header again to change the gasket. May as well try what you've got. I really like my Percy's set.
