does anyone know the size of the rivets that go into the front bumper cover, im putting a nicer bumper cover on my 89gt and i dont know the size of the rivets [:@]

 

i BELIEVE i USED A 5/16 RIVIT on mine

 

where could i get that rivet from, i need to have this bumper on tomorrow cause im not off until monday and iw ant the car to get painted this weekend!!! lol

 

any parts store or auto body paint supply store.....or even home depot I believe

 

ok and 5/16 would be the size of the rivet head correct??

 

5/16" is the shank size, not the head size.

FWIW my 89GT took 1/4"

 

ok i just got to find a rivet with a head big enough for the hole in my bumper cover, so i can get it ont he car ill shop around tomorrow ill probably just run to the autobody supply store near my house my dad suggested. thanks guys
