ORIGINAL: MADMAC

Another issue I was having is when sitting in stop and go traffic or red light, I would put it in neutral and let loose of the clutch (Lazy old FART). When it was time to go it would not go into 1st nor2nd gear, I would have to put it in 3rd then it would slide into 1st with no problem. Frustrating at the least.
Yea, i can get it to shift sometime when i put it in 3rd first and then into first, wierd.

The car doesnt run too smooth in the cold so im hoping thats whats wrong.

How often should the atf be changed?

Check your owner's manual. It will have fluid change intervals.

My haynes manual suggests every 60k, but I'm probably going to change it well before that [8D].
