You might as well ask what kind of oil people are using because that's what they are going to say is the best...

on old, high mile cars, I prefer to use Castrol GTX.

My Cobra though, gets a carefully balanced dose of mobil1 full synthetic

on a high milage motor.. best stick with regular oil like a 10w 30.. they make a oil that claims to be for motors with high milage engines...says on the bottle 75000 and up... may be castrol or quaker state..... can't remember??

quaker state and penzoil like to crystalize and sludge up your engine, thats just what ive heard from a few people with the unlucky experience of rebuilding an engine after its use, I use mobil 1 on the stang, but feel free to use castrol so my bpstock will rise.

Well i use either valvoline full synthetic or mobil one full synthetic in both of my mustangs with either fram or k&n oil filters, and the oil stays clean and doesnt drop a bit, and i will also through in a can of BG MOA occassionally..I have a 92 dodge caravan with 198,800 miles on it and i use either valvoline or mobil 1 full synthetic as well and i have had no problems...the stangs dont have as many miles as the van but its all good, i wouldnt think of putting anything besides those two oils or regular oil in any of my cars, unless i physically cant..but yea mobil 1 has some oil that is like for high mileage cars, and says you can change the oil like 7500 miles, and one that is like 10000 miles, id personally not do that but someone might
