I had my timing at 36 total locked out on the msd ignition and 3924's NA...and it ran good on all motor...I had it a little fat at idle if it sat to long plugs were dark brown but after a drive they'd clean up.....but its hard to really say one thing caused my prob.....I think crankshaft flex pinched off oil flow two the number 2 and three/ thrust bearing as they were the only bearings wasted..literally nuber 2 was charred black and wouldn't fit in the cap anymore

 

what should I gap my stock auto lite 25's at? no mods to the car? Thanks

Not to steal the thread, but what plugs do you guys think I should use with a 347 stroker, 5 psi SC, and Canfield 195 heads? I have Splitfires in now, but figured something else would be better suited for my application.

 

BTW- I've got a conservative tune at 20 degrees and have the AFPR set at 50 psi.

I've been wondering about this ever since I got the car tuned.
