Default clutches in rear end

has any one replaced the clutches in the factory t-lock rear end?

Yeah, it's easy. I used a procedure from a Ford Ranger service manual. If you buy the kit from Ford it comes complete with shims. I think with fliud and the friction modifyer the whole thing came to about $80.

Off the top of my head I don't remember. The procedure was in the Ford service manual for a Ranger which is the same thing. If I'm not mistaken I ended using the same thickness shims. I've got 40,000 miles on it since I replaced them and all is well so far.
