Default 90 gt oil leak

ok my buddys 90 gt has a oil leak..its pretty badd...its coming from the back of the motor...its not the rear main seal tho.. head gasket maybe any input would be great...we plan to take the upper intake off it to get a better look

it might be the intake seal between the heads that is a common problem.

Just wondering how you ruled out the rear main. Do you see oil above the rear main at the back of the block?

yea i would thought the rear main too right away but it could be that the seal isn't good on the back of the intake the the head

Get a dye kit from the parts store $15 , dump the dye in the oil, after a week, look under the hood at night with the UV light.

ok supposedly the rear main was done in the car before my buddy bought it....but hisd ad said from what he could tell with a flash light its not the rear main..but we will find out sunday morning..

Get a couple of cans of carb cleaner, an air blower, and a flashlight. Clean and blow off everything, run it and find the leak. If it is as bad as you say it wont take long to find.
