Default What do you think of this setup?

I have been looking around for some extra power for my gt and I have come to the decision that a top end swap would be best for what I'm looking for. I was eying up the kits they offer but it quickly becomes apparent that those kits just offer the convenience of having everything already put together for you. I figured I try to piece together my own. Here's what I'm looking at so far: AFR 165s w/o emissions crap, TFS track heat intake, and a steeda #18 cam, possibly even a custom ground cam. I figure that this setup should produce some pretty decent #s when coupled with the right injectors, TB,MAF, and fuel pump. What doyou think of the setup,and/or can you suggest something a little better?

Does anybody have any recommendations for lifters, pushrods, timing set, and a decent gasket set? Trickflow actually makes everything but the lifters I was wondering if they were any good?

Have you looked at the holley intakes? On average they are making the most power, and look better than the TF stuff IMO. I have the track heat and it performs, but i just dont like the looks of it

I have the AFR catalog and it says that the heads come assembled but I am assuming that they only mean with the valves and not rocker arms, so can anybody suggest a set that would compliment the setup I have devised so far? Be easy on me this is my first time trying to piece together a system that works together well.
