does anyone here know if a alternator from a 90 thunderbird sc is a 2g or 3g alternator.im woundering because i have 2 of them sitting here at the house and i want to install one on my new motor for my mustang. i know they are 130 or 140amp. and i know it will fit because i have allready placed ity in the bracket. if anyone can help me i allso need to know how it gets wired in.

get the pig tails when your at the yard, dont let the man see you, they will want to charge you for the whole harness

If they are 3G the do not have the cooling fan on the outside like you normally see on mustangs. They are internal.

I believe they are 2 g if the fan assembley is exterior then = 2g

no its internal fan so does that mean its a 3g? and how do i wire this alternator
