Keep blowing the #9 15 amp brake light fuse in my 94 gt.Need help!!!!!!!!

get your dvom and start tracing wires back from the fuse, check your voltage, prolly gona need a wire schematic

when does it blow?? when you use the brakes?? if so remove the light assemblies and look for a bad socket/ melted one and or a shorted bulb and or a pinched wire that may have occured when someone put assembly back in

When I hit the brakes, but it doesn't do it right off the bat! It may take a few seconds!

Actually its when I have my brakes on then pops when I push in my clutch?????? I did have a license plate lamp socket that was bad, replaced it, put a new fuse in it, turned the key on, pumped the brakes, turn the on the turn signals, everything was fine. Then with the brake on I pushed in the clutch, thenit popped!!!! Thanks!

Got it fixed, the top of the clutch pedal was rubbing and exposed wire. Thanks for you help and ideas! And two threads aren't better than one.
