Default RE: Quick fuel pressure question

I just thought I'd let everyone know that finally about 7 months later I finally found the problem with my car. There was no grommet on the PCV Valve. Causing a major vacume leak. When I changed the fuel pressure regulator (last winter) I did it with the intake manifold on, Which was a huge pain in the butt. Anyway when I changed it I remember the PCV Valve came out of the intake manifold by accident. I put the valve back in, but since the upper intake manifold makes it so hard to even see the PCV valve I put it back in with no grommet. Yesterday I took off my intake manifold to install 24# injectors and noticed there was no grommet!!! Anyway I have no doubt that was the problem as that would cause a major vacume leak, which would cause symptoms like I was having all summer long! (backfireing, lack of power, poor idle quality)

Anyway I wanted to thank you guys for all the help!

I think that fuel pressure is too high, I ran at 38psi and turned it down to 32 psi and it has waaay more power, and doesnt detonate, but I have a 190lph pump and 24# injectors.
when I use my nitrous it detonates bad at 32 though.
to run my nos I have it set at 42psi.
