well thats a very tough question to answer.

If not done correctly, a 100 shot could potentialy ruin your engine from running lean. Things like a Fuel pressure safety switch, and maybe a window switch are nice to have. And you NEED an adequate fuel system depending upon how big of a shot you're running.

A stock block (302, non-mexican) can theoretically handle 500-550 hp. SO, with that, I guess it depends how much power you have now, and how much you'd like to add to it.

There's guys that run 250 shots on a SBF all day long.

I would say about a 300 shot, possibly a 400...

On a serious note, you could do a 125 wet shot. You just have to watch your timing, a/f ratio, etc.

cause ive seen a NOSdirect port wet shot for $680 it came with jets for a 35,50,75,100 shot but it said it was capable of a 300 shot with the right jetting....now can i get the kit and slap it on and run a 100 shot on a completely stock engine?or should i wait and do the h/c/i then the nitrous?

thanx!

You could run a 100 shot on a stock block with no problems, as stated before though be careful that you are not running lean. What year is your car?

I typically see people spraying 175 shot wet at the most when stock, and 150 shot dry with a fuel pump upgrade. Not saying I haven't seen a guy spray more and nothing break, but you would be running a risk. Keep in mind nitrous is like heroin...once you shoot it, you want more!!

I cant relate to the heroin analogy[8D], but usually if your car is running good, has good compression and not burning excessive oil, a 100 shot will be fine. I dont believe i would push it past that. IMO i would save up for a descent h/c/i and worry about the juice later.
