Im about to do a reverse swap Im putting a non-tilt in place of my tilt because the tilt mechanism disentigrated on me while driving and scared the everliving **** out of me. I was told it would match up though.

But it depends....Are you taking a Air bag column out(90-93) and putting in a 87-89 column? or are you replacing a non-tilt 87-89 column with a tilt?

also forgot to mention you will need the 87-89 column shroud .. i havent had any problems with mine .. but i used a practically brand new completely remanufactured oem column .. it was expensive but worth it .. heres a pic of how it will look

other than a junkyard this is the only place where i could find a column and i would not recommend using a junkyard column as im sure you read the previous post lol

Probably completely different. I'm currently swapping my '91 to an '89 tilt column. I'm not done yet (doing alarm wiring and other things at the same time), but so far the only difference I've seen is the horn wire. I'm swapping all of my '91 electronics on to the other column and it looks like they should all bolt up fine.
