Default Front & Rear Springs

Is there are performance springs available that are stock height (1998 Mustang 5.0)? I am looking for street and strip springs that give you a good ride. Does anyone know if they are out there?

Pretty hard to find unless you get drag kits. Not the best for street use though because of ride quality. Why don't you want it lowered any? A good kit will only lower about 1/2"

I can lower it about 1/2" and I would like to lower it but I have a big tranny pan on so I dont want to scrap it. I know I can buy lower control arms in which I can adjust the ride height on also. What springs would you recommend that only lower it 1/2" and are good for street/strip use? I dont want a bad ride because I dont go to the track much.

FRPP Sport Springs provide great handling and lower the front 7/8" and the rear 1/2". Eibach Drag Kit lowers about the same and is good for the strip and still maintains a decent ride quality.

I have the Eibach Pro-Kits (which say they lower it an inch) and the heightlooks exactly the same as it did before the install

I think it is because my 15-year old springs simply started to sag.....so the new ones looked the same

The ride however, changed A LOT!! It was a much stiffer, tighter ride and I NEVER bottom out

+1, Eibach is by far one of my favorites. I should have went with them on this build but went with the FRPP Drag Kit since it was going to primarily a strip car.

If you were to choose from the Eibach Pro Kit and Eibach Drag Kit, what one would you choose for a street/strip car? Will the Drag Kit still give you a good ride?
