im wanting to delete the air pump. im thinkingabout just taking it off and string-measuring for a shorter belt...is that a good idea? also, do i have to plug the holes in the heads that run from the pump? and with what?

i just did that to mine you have to buy a shorter belt and yes you have to plug the holes in the back of the heads all you have to do is take the tube that is running into them cut them off and turn them around so that the flat side is up against the head sealing it off i used some rtv sealent around the edges and there was no exhaust leaks.

sorry i forgot where to tell you to cut them you have to cut them right at the base pm me for some pics i can send them to you show you where to cut them
