Default Tire Rub Problem

Here's my issue. I have 255/60/15's on 15x8 Draglite wheels on the rear. The right rear rubs the quad really bad. The left rear doesn't rub at all.

When I got the car it have 2 inches cut out of the stock rear springs. I just put new stock rear springs on hoping that raising it back up might help. But it still rubs on the RR.

My question is what could be causing just the one side to rub. I know I can remove the quads but I don't want to have to do that due to wheel hop.

I am at my wits end on this problem. Any ideas? Could the rearend have shifted some?

just end for end the quad.....it'll get you extra 1/2" and you can keep them that way

What do you mean by just end for end the quad? Turn them around. And as for the tire size 255/60 /15's aren't too big. Guys are running 275/60's with no rubbing issue.

275's require that the quads be removed, 255 are getting there. you have 2 optios, one, remove the quad shocks and do your upper/lower control arms to eliminate whell hop. two, flip the quad shocks so that there facing the other direction, it gives you a little more clearance.

I was always told that you can pull the quads after you install a good set of control arms...
