I'm having trouble keeping belts on th alternator.
Everything seem aligned properly now and I still keep tossing belts. I even use the "good" belts.(gatorbacks)

I was told to use a smaller diameter crank pulley to underdrive the alternator.
I just wanted to know what cars would have a smaller pulley.
Mine measures 8 inches.

I found one from summit that's only 5.5 inches. The only problem is that they want $85 for one.
It would probably free up some HP for me though.....

Check some old Bronco's, some of them had a 351, pully might work for you.

Moroso makes some deep groove pulleys for racing alternators and cransk but don't know if they do them for Fords or not. you could go check their website I guess and see.
