Default Performance ignition box

As some of you might know I have plans to swap the top end of the 5.0 in my gt by mid summer. Right now I am trying to get the car dialed in for maxium performance on the stock-ish engine. I am getting some LCA this week and was wanting to get an ignition box. I was looking at either the ACCELor the MSD. Both have similar prices as well as similar functions, but there will always be people who swear by one or the other and I just wanted some opinions as to what you guys recommend. Right now the car has a stock distributor but it was just replaced with a brand new one by the previous owner before I got the car, that shouldn't be a problem right?

Keep the stock distributor. You'll get no additional gains from changing it. As for the ignition, I have all MSD stuff. 6al and a BTM. Although my coil is a Crane Fireball ps91. The MSD coils have a tendency to make a buzzing noise.

I have the MSD Dig 6 plus along with MSD dist and coil. I dont have any buzzing with my coil though. The only problems i had with my box were my fault. The dig is a nice piece as it allows you to retard timing for starting or for using nitrous by just adjusting a dial, it also has a two step rev limiter. They cost about $320. If i were you i would just keep the stock dist. also. They are fine and a new billet msd dist will cost around 300 bones.
