The suggestion above or Flowtech Inductionwill work well for you, for a custom camshaft.

Sound is just a by-product of the camshaft's particulars.

If you build it, the sound will come...

By the way....

E303 - 220*/220* - 282*/282* - .498"/.498" - .311"/.311" - 110* - 110*/110* - 2,500-5,500 RPM
Overlap: 62 degrees.
1.6 Rocker Ratio
Intake Opening: 0* BTDC
Intake Closing: 40* ABDC
Exhaust Opening: 40* BBDC
Exhaust Closing: 0* BTDC

Thanks for the advice!!!!I was planning on using the twisted wedge heads in my 86 due to the piston clearance butone of the other MF members told me that i would not see the full potential of theheads if i was to use the E303 does that soudn right to you.

Yes it does

Those heads are much better than the E303 can give it.

A custom camshaft (if it fits the bill) is a much better option.

Either Ed @ www.flowtechinduction.com or Jay @ www.camshaftinnovations.com will work with you.

I would be willing to bet that a "silent" custom camshaft, could be "tuned" to the point and beat a "noisy" camshaft.

I wish people would not buy a cam because of the sound it makes. why are people so ignorant. I would go with the TFS1 cam. the e cam is too small for those heads

..you obviously didn't read that it's an 86 and has SD unless of course it was converted to mass air but if it's SD still ...no you wouldn't put a tfs-1 cam in it.... and if you did..it'll idle/run like dog dew!!!
