Get a MAF from a 94/95 mustang, 6er or 5.0. That is the same as a cobra MAF, and with you cobra ECM, it will run like one(meaning it will run your 24lbers) With the stock ECM, it would only run 19lbers. Look on ebay for the MAF.
I had one and sold it when I swapped injectors last year.

Well now that you have the cobra ECM it will work great with the 24's. I would get another one and try it.

Or here is another thought, put your old ECM back in...it will work fine with the manual tranny.

I might give that a try.
I was told the Cobra one is better for performance with my h/c/i though.

It probably is, but with the caliberated MAF telling your ECM it is running 19's and a ECM caliberated for 24's...that can't be good.

I think you can pick chips up with a box tune anywhere, but in your situatuion needinga custom chip, you'll need to head to ur local dyno. I think. Either way a dyno tune would probly help you the most.
I have a question, what exactly do they do when you get a dyno tune?

I changed the thermostat tonight. I went with a 195* (stock) and the car does warm up better now.
I didnt notice a huge difference when I took it for a ride so Im still going to need to get it tuned.

well put your stock ecm back in and then see how it runs and get it tuned anyway by a good mustang shop. try to find some local mustang clubs in your area like out by me we have listangs.com and they go to realspeed which is a really good shop by me and get some recommendations for dyno tunning.

well do this since you want to run the cobra one so bad. put the stock ecm in when you get a stock factory 24 lb 93 cobra mass air meter again put it on with the cobra ecm and then get it tuned. but untill then run the stock one.
