oil fouled plug

Default oil fouled plug

hey guys
i pulled my #8 plug today
it had a light coating of oil on it
non of the others have this problem, and they all look fine
its just this one cylinder
any ideas?

oil ring is bad on that cylinder

check the compression compared to the others... just clean it often for now, and you might get away w/ heavier oil too

could just be guide seal I had #1 plug cap up with oil was just the valve guide

nah its the oil ring they sell an adapter at any part store and you can install it just like a plug and the your spark plug screws on it it will give it more clerance to stop it from fouling out

The part is called a non fouler but the root cause should be investigated as this is a band aid as you will still have poor oil control.

that fouler plug sucks used it just do a compression test an that will tell you what it is.

well
im not burning oil at all
so i have no idea
it doesnt smoke any or smell like oil
so idk
ill look into the valve seal
seems more appropriate

Put the plug back in, run for a little bit, pull it out and get a picture. Also take a pic of the valve cover nearest the plug to see if maybe oil is running down to the plug and really from the valve guides or oil ring.
