Default Gauge clustr lights won't come on

Well tonight my gauge cluster lights went out & haven't come back on. They, sometimes, did this before, but would come right back on when i played w/the dimmer switch. This time no go. I replaced the dimmer switch, but that didn't fix it. Anyone have any other ideas? It's an 89[/align]

when you say dimmer switch...you mean the little wheel you roll right?? cause that is a rehostat..the dimmer switch is known as the multi function switch with the bright light dimmer and turn signal.....but the head light switch may have a bad leg on it to the cluster

You need a new switch (instrument cluster dimmer).

Did you do the headlight switch and the wheel?

I think the other switch is when you flash your brights by pulling back on the turn signal post.
