Googel vortech engineering , check out what they have. I run the vr-2 sq. Quiet and very reliable. I'm happy with mine. As for gas mileage , my F-150 with a 5.4 liter gets alot worse. Just face it you got to "pay to play"

deffinitly go with a better one or it will be kind of a waste. i have a vortech v1 on my 88 and i get 17.5 to the gallon city. but that is trying to save gas alot. you should look into vortech call there customer service is good

I don't mean to come off as a jerk, so please don't take this the wrong way. After reading this thread, it sounds like this may be your first Mustang. I recommend keeping an eye on this thread and picking up some magazines, such as 5.0 Mustang. You will want to do some research into superchargers before you go buy one. 99% of the time, they go on without a problem. Unfortunately, 1% of the time there are problems because there's a lot that people take for granted when installing them. You have to address your fuel system, retard your timing, that sort of thing. It is a simple process, but like I said, after reading this thread I think it's time to start researching. You want to make sure you have all your bases covered so that you don't end up hurting your ride.

Personally, I would look for a deal on a Vortech with about 6psi. They are relatively low boost, and they are not too involved. I'd buy a new one, you can get a kit for under $2000. Save your money, and you'll be happier in the long run if you do your research first.
