Helllo,

How do you remove the AC/Heater blower motor from a 90 mustang LX? The book that i have tells you to remove the glovecom. door and remove the two bolts from the bottom and thats all. I tryed this and i still can't get it to come out. Any ideas please?

[*]Disconnect battery ground cable.[*]Squeeze sides of glove compartment together to disengage tabs and pivot glove compartment down.[*]Remove blower motor cooling hose.[*]Disconnect blower motor electrical connector, then remove blower motor attaching screws and the motor, Fig. 32.[*]Reverse procedure to install.[/ol]
Seems simple enough

Hello,

So i got to the part of removing the glove cover and the motor electrical connector. Howdo you get to the blower motor. It's behind the air duct. How do you get back there?

nope not true^^^^^anyway, once you get to all the screws holding it in and glove box removed...you can wiggle it down... takes like 5 - 10 min each time to get mine out

Thanks for the info mjr46. Do you happen to know how may screws hold the unit in and where they are? I got the two on the bottom and one on the right side near the top. Are there any more?
