Default idle problem still

Hi guys. After I installed my CAI and the new 8.5 msd wires, my idle starts at about 1000, then works its way to about 700 once its warm. It floats around constintly and when I give it gas the spedometer goes up fast, but my speed and power is not. WTF? I had a k&n cold air before so do I still have to reset my computer since I switched to a fenderwell bbk? Or could this have to do with the wires? I matched them all correctly and secured them as best as I could...The coil one however is kind of loose but the car cranks and turns easy just like before. any help is much apreciated.

You should honestly reset your computer by disconnecting the battery every single time you do a modification no matter how big or how small. Atleast this is how it is for my car. If I don't reset the computer after every single thing, then my idle jumps up and down. Think about it, you switched the types of cold air. Now your car's computer thinks it is getting the same amount of air as earlier, but really it has changed.
