If I hadn't already had the induction and exhaust for a 302 based motor I would have probably went with a 351. Personally, my opinion goes with the old adage "No replacement for displacement". I already had the GT-40 intake, the headers, and what notso I decided to go with the 347.</P>


Like I said call a few of the companies that make the kits. Get thier opinions and talk to a couple of people that own them. IMO the 347 has been very reliable for me. My car is mainly street driven. I rarely go to the track. Most my milescome from highway use. I cruise at 75mph all the time.I can't say anything good or bad about the 331 since I have yet to drive/or see one driven for long periods. </P>

I thin probe has got the fix on their 347 kits..just look at the oil ring landing to be sure
