Default tw heads in kit need notching ??

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...p;autoview=skuI think the heads are 170cc andI kno the 165cc heads do not need to be notched. My question is are the heads that come in the kit 170cc and would they need to be notched. I wanted to go with 185cc afr but im having trouble finding a machine shop in upper state N.Y. everything is closer to the city =( and thats like a 4 hour drive. And is it as easy as it seems with that tool you can buy (ISKY) im not a mechanic and i dont want to ****up my car... What do you guys think. Thanks

it really depends on cam choice. Take a look in the phone book for a machine shop. I live in western new york and theres tons of machine shops around here

what are you talking about notching your heads?? wtf?? I think you may mean pistons and with twistyed wedge the whole point behind the canted valve set up is so no piston notching need be done and if you had a custom cam designed you can use a 185 head with no notching= all in cam design
