yet another wheel question
I was wondering ifa set of wheels that are 15x7 with 4 1/2" back spacing if on a stock 87 fox? Also the lug measurment should be 4 1/4 right? I am fine with removing the quads if needed. Finally what size tires would work the best on them? I am looking to go bigger (wider if possible and taller)on the rear then the front. I know the rims are cheap but I am on a poor mans budget and this is the only width they offer in that lug spacing and rim size. Thanks for the help.

RE: yet another wheel question
[:'(]man before putting those on a fox I'dpart with a set ofof 10 holes for little or next to nothingan 2 have decent tires on them if you were close enough fredericksburg isn't to far from frederick Md.. you make the drive and I'll work a fair deal

RE: yet another wheel question
So will they fitcorrectly or not? Also if by the 10 hole you are refering to what I think you are (factory rims that came on the 5.0s in 87)I already have them on there and dont like them.

RE: yet another wheel question
4 1/2" bs seems wrong to me , but itmight beok
on an 8" rim you want 5 1/2" BS , now yes the rim you talk about is 1" diff but only 1/2" of it is on either side of the mounting point. just like a 2" taller tire raises your car 1" because the radius makes the diff
anyways, worst case scenario is it is off by 1/2" and that probably not noticible too much.
a 10" tire will start to roll pretty good on a 7" wheel so size wise... i'd stick w/ 9" tire
my 10 1/2" mickeys on my pony wheels are pulled in too far. thats a 8" wheel , but also 16" wheel , which makes a slight diff on pulling in the tire.
hope that gives you some better idea, and yes 4 1/4" bolt circle is correct for a 4-lug fox
