What should I do? Rebuild or
My cars engine has 184,000 miles and is still running strong. Well not that strong.</P>
It needs a rebuild. IT's the V8 302 EFI with roller cam. The question is do I take the time to take it out and rebuild it? Or buy a crate engine like from http://www.fordcobraengines.com/ for a 302 / 360hp EFI engine complete?</P>
Heres the link to the engine http://www.fordcobraengines.com/302_360EFI.htm</P>
Are they over priced? This is my first ford and if you know any better deals let me know.....</P>
</P>
Thanks</P>

build it. it will be more fun and you can personalize it instead of buying the gt-40 crap cylinder heads. get the brodix st5.0 R heads. musclemustangs and fastfords dynoed them at 69 hp over stock. and the edelbrock were alittle bit less.

I have to agree. If you got the money and this is your only car. You'll want it down for the least amount of time.</P>

I actually am starting to agree. Iget the parts Ineed for the driving I will be doing. My friend is doing the same right now in his 69 chevy. But he's smog exempt. I wish I was. I didn't know that engine wouldn't work for smog.</P>
So it looks like a short block and build in the garage for a few months.</P>
Does anyone have any sites or shops that I can order one for a good price?</P><edited><editID>black89stang</editID><editDate>37917.2209606481</editDate></edited>
