smash ratio
if i got a poiston that specified 9.0:1 with a 63cc head, what roughly about could i expect with a 58cc head?

im guessing about 10, with aftermarketdish slugs, could i use a cam about .550 with 1.94 valves safley?

you mean compression ratio, you download calculators that figure that kind of thing

thanks adder. im looking at 351 rebuild kits from summit and trying to see whether it would work good with afr's and pump gas.

yeah i want about 10.5:1. but is the rebuild kit for $500 inc. pistons/gaskets/bearings/oil pump etc a good choice with 58cc heads?
