Thanks, as soon asI can get a fluke meter I will try that. I tried a search for the driveline lash and the search is not working, I don't have the time to try and search it right now, but I may try it this weekend. As far as the driveline lash what all is involved with that? One thing I have noticed is that is only seems to do it when the pedal is at a certian piont, as soon as I let off or give it gas its gone. At low speeds it bucks allot, IfI am going alittle faster at a higher RPM its better butI can still feel it. Its kind of a surge back and forth, not quite as bad as at lower speeds were it just starts going uncontrolably were my foot and body start jerking around. At higher speeds its almost like the brakes feel like there catching than releasing? Nothing to do with the brakes but thats the only wayI can think to explaine it? Now that I am thinking about it alittle more I am starting to think it's the throttle body, I have a 70mm but I have had it for awhile and a few years back I sand blasted it and then repainted it when I put in the new motor, allthough I cleaned it very well I am thinking that maybe it is something to do with that? Where excactly is the TPS located, I could try and replace that before I get do deep into it, is it an expensive part?

Thanks, I am kind of new to the whole car thing, my mechanical experience is with aircraft not cars.

Ok, so I did a little research. I found out were the TPS is located, I took it off whenI cleaned my throttle body backa few years ago and I remember dinking around with it, so I am almost sure that the volts were changed on it. As soon as I get a fluke meter I will check the volts and make the changes to see if that is the issue! I hope so!

I checked with the shop that tuned my car and he said the timing should be fine? As far as the TPS I have been taking a look at it and it appears as though the black wire that goes into the end of it as starting to fray a bit, so I might just replace it. I have a 70mm Throttle body and was wondering if anyone knew if the TPS had to be specific for the size throttle body or if it just had to be for a 88-93 model GT. They seempretty cheap soI may just buy one put it on and see if that fixes it, if not then I guess I have to look some more or just pay the shop to do a good check on it?

Thanks
Mike

Ok guys, I tried the fluke meter like aode08 told me too and everything seems to be ok there. The guys at the shop told me to try changing the spark plug gaps and there ok, timing is ok, and I am not to sure what else to look at, I still am unsure what driveline lash is though. To me I think it has to do with my cam and not having enough vacuum? I thought when I ordered my motor I asked for a E303 cam because I wanted more power in the low range but I noticed that I have more power higher up in the rpms, between 4000-5000 rpm's. Is there a way to check the vacuum, or doI have to take it to the dealer for that? Is there something that I canget to give memore vacuum?
