why the f@#k does my a/c switch from the main vents to the defrost vents under any acceleration... doesnt shut off.. just switches to defrost... i cant figure it out.. even the smallest amount of gas in 4-5 gears it switches.... HELP PlEASE and has anyone else experienced this?????

You have a leak in the vacuum system for the vents. Either the supply line is leaking, the vacuum canister in the fender well or the vacuum switch in the dash is the problem.

 

either there is a vaccum leak as mentioned above or the one way check valve is bad out under the hood by the evaporator lines...it's sort of a funky looking black thing attached to hard plastic lines
