Default Steering Column Bearing Removal

Hey everyone,

My aunt's 91 Mustang was broken into and stolen a few weeks ago and has since been recovered. I'm doing some work on it for her to get it back into shape. Well I guess the guy who stole it broke the lock cylinder out of the ignition and in the process ruined the lock cylinder housing, where the ignition switch is mounted to. Well I've a aquirred a new housing, but I'm having trouble getting it off of the steering column. It seems to be held on by a bearing. If any knows of a way to remove this bearing, it would be greatly appricated. I can force it off of the old one, but not when I when I install it. Also, anyone have a idea on how I can get the old lock cylinder out of the housing, seeing as I don't have a key to put it into the run position? Thanks in advance.

Michael
