Problem Is Getting Worse
I had a post somewhere about this but now its worse i think. After installing the 8.5 wires and new CAI my idle is really jumpy and when I step on it it seems to not respond very well. Also when I start car there is a very strong gas smell, is that what running rich means? The biggest problem I just noticed today was that I can clearly hear a spark in the engine bay! While im driving the car! It just sparks like every 7 seconds. I connected the wires the way they were before and checked the diagram. Hte coil wire is very loose could this be the coil sparking? Yet another prob is tafter turning the car off, there is a loud snaping sound where my TB meets the CAI. And my temp guage stays about in the middle at most, but I can clearly smell a hot motor. I tryed reseting computer...Any ideas?
