Default Car Stalling at a stop sign

Hello, I have a 1995 cobra that is mostly stock except an off road h pipe, flowmaster cat back, cold air intake, and 3/8 intake spacer. When I come to a stop sign my cars idle dips down from 800-500 and eventually dips down far enough and the car stalls. The car runs great down the road and through town. I dont know what is causing it because the car is mostly stock, no wild mods. Any ideas, thanks, Dave

Mine did that exact same thing right after I installed a new FPR. It did it again after I installed my exhaust system. Both occurances only happend a few times and it got progressivly better until it didnt do it again. I think the computer was adjusting, thats my best bet. Is your exhaust setup new?

I had that problem after my intake 1.7 rollers and stuff, one dayt I disconnected the battery for a good 40 minutes, and the problem was solved.. Make sure the TPS is at .98 though too.

try unplugging both battery cables overnight,
then drive it for a bit to let the computer adjust.

it could also be a bad idle air control sensor.
try cleaning it.

Would a idle air control motor set off a check engine light code? The exhaust isnt new, the only new thing is the intake manifold spacer. It didnt do this last year. The biggest problem is the car sits all winter, I ran 1 full tank of gas through it and it seems to be running better. The check engine light would come on and go off alot, now it isnt nearly as freequent.

My car is just a lil older but I had some problems sorta like that. I would come up on a turn, stop light or sign, and when I hit the brakes the car would sorta bog down and almost stall ( a few times it did) but I looked around and found a few vacuum leaks i capped em off and its been fine since. A lot of times simple things will occur and a cars computer will kinda go haywire, unhooking the battery for a little while usually seems to sorta reset things.
