Question about ride height after spring install>>
ok my car is an 89' lx that was originally a 4 cyl car and now has an 85 h.o. 302 in it. any way i just bought a set of speedtech suspension techniques lowering springs for 87-93 v8's, the install went great, the drop was 1.8 in the front and 1.6 in the rear, i now look at the car and the rear looks lower than the front?? the car still has the 4 cyl rear shocks, could this be the problem?? maybe they are worn/blown should i get v8 rear shocks?? any help is appreciated. thanks

I didn't think that they did, but i just don't understand why the back is lower?? could it be that maybe i have the spring seated wrong in the rear? i dunno, also one other thing is that the new springs were thicker than the 4cyl springs and when i put the sleeve around the bottom part of the spring on the front it was almost too thick to sit down flat in the bottom part of the spring housing?? does this make sense?? so maybe the front is the problem and the front springs are not sitting all the way down in the seat?? let me know what you think.

It is hard to tell what exactly could be wrong. Did you put all the isolators back in place? I have seen lots or lowered foxes where the back has seemed lower then the front it could just be the springs.

are both pigtails supposed to point towards the drivers side, because i don't think that is how i have it, i have them facing the rear of the car?? when looking at the rubber seats that the springs sit on they looked like they were facing the rear but maybe that is wrong??
