Whats up guys i have a 1991 gt but i really love the looks of a lx. I was just wondering if i take the gt body kit off would it automatically become a lx or do i have to order the lx front and rear bumpers?. If so where can i order them? thanks

You will need the front and rear bumper covers, door moldings, and the matching moldings for the 1/4 panels and for the front fenders. You then have to remove the rivets holding the brackets that the GT pieces were mounted to, and then fill all the rivet holes. Other than that youd need the LX taillights and an LX spoiler for the hatch. The GT wings look like crap on an LX. I think they use the same mounts as the GT but i dont know if they use the same brake light.

You can order bumpers pretty much everywhere.

DONT DO THIS! find one of the millions of people that want to slap GT stuff on their LX and trade your GT! two people win, and two mustangs WONT get disfigured.

+1 ^^^ ...take a look at the guy with the 93 LX above...don't change the GT...nice foxes hard to find these days...
