Default Quick Question Plz Help

I have the msd wires on and I was hearing a spark while I was driving. The wire to the coil is very loose and when I checked the boot it has been burnt inside...Is it possible that there are 2 different boots? One for the plugs, and then a different one for the coil? And is there a way that I can replace just the boot that got burnt withouht buying the $70.00 wires all over again?Thx

Bad coil or more likley the coil wire, you can buy just the coil wire. If it is the coil is bad that is no big deal just get a new one.

Ok thx for input. I just ordered another msd coil. The tip of the coil has turned white and looks like I did somehow fried it. I guess those loud sparks I heard while I was driving was not a good sound. I hope this is all it is. Car was working GREAT before I decided to mod the hell out of it. Im sure I installed everything correctly exept the damn wires and coil.

OMFG, to add to this problem I forgot to tag my spark plug wires and now I am not sure of the placement. I got the Chiltons manuel and know the fireing order. But the new msd cap does not have any #'s on it! and of course I threw my old cap away... Can anyone here show me an alternate diagram or even one that you make up. I think I have been misfiring while using the wrong wire to the coil causing loud sparks, really crappy luggy idle, and a burnt spark plug boot. Maby even a fried coil. How bad is this and could there be any worse damage later due to this? Btw would the car even start if I misplaced the wires? Ty very much for any help, im pretty stressed about this[&o]
