94 STANg MAF sensor???
i bought a 94 GT w,306 block, gt40 heads,e303 cam,gt 40 upper n lower intake, looks to be a 70mm SVO throtle body w spacer, 24lb inj but they still have stock 19lb MAF...i was going to buy one but the guy only had the alum housing,he says this is the part that calibrates it for 24..is this correct or is it the black box??and once it gets warm it makes a horrible whining that sounds like the waterpump but i replaced it and still nothing...maybe harmonic balancer??open to suggestions...thnx

Both the housing and the sensor MUST be correct for the ecu.
Not the injector size, the ecu.
The only time the injector size is a consideration when buying a MAF is if you are buying aftermarket.
Then, the MAF 'calibration' must match the injector size AND ecu...
In all instances these 3 parts must be considered a matched set.
What are the part numbers on the black sensor?
Is it a STOCK housing? Or maybe C&L?
Can you post a pic of the housing?

92 & 94 will be balanced the same.
The only difference I could forsee would be the 'thickness' of the balancer
HOWEVER, they should be the same. Just check that they look to be the same height before installing. If it's wrong the belt will try to jump off the crank pulley...
Again, this shouldn't be an issue... atleast I've never heard of it being a problem...
The F2VF tells me it belongs on a 94-95 Mustang, and the AFH70 tells me that this sensor belongs in a 70mm housing.
Let's see your pic, and we'll go from there...
You don't want to run 24's with that meter on a non-tuned ecu.
You need either a calibrated MAF meter, or a custom J3 tune to run 24's.
I would opt for the tune myself, but that will either cost a little money and a little time, or just lots of money.
Most folks here would probably opt for the calibrated MAF meter though.
