why is coil wire to short...

Well I got my new msd coil wire from summit and it is to short. its 17 inchs... Why would they make a replacement coil wire that is to short? I dont know wtf im gonna do now...I have the tfi coil installed. any ideas?

Probably to force you to move it closer. The longer the wire, the more resistance and possible chance for chaffing of the wire that causes power loss.
