a lot of people advertise the explorer as a cobra and it's not

cobra has the egr spacer cast into it... the explorer does not.

all 3 (real 40, cobra, explorer) use the same lower

94/95 Corba intakes will not clear the strut tower brace, if you want one, then get a BBK or MAC that will allow for the clearance.
Great deal, GT-40 upper/lower combos sell for around $250-400, especailly the 94/95s which are hard as hell to find.
This is a 93 intake it will work on the 95 with the exception of the brace right ? Seem to be getting conflicting opinions or at least people that are answering an not clear what I have ...so just want to make sure

the factory strut tower brace will not clear anything other than the stock gt intake...no big deal as it doesnt do much...also to run that intake on your 95 you will need to purchase the adapter elbow ..its anywhere from like 60 to 100 dollars new...its what i have to run a explorer intake on my 94.

no its not wrong..guess i coulda said that first..but yea you can either do the elbow and run the SN stuff...or if you dont wanna buy the elbow..pick up a fox body throttle cable and throttle body..however if you run emissions(egr) im not sure how that would work because on the Sn cars the egr pipe comes from the header to the egr valve on the part curved part(aka the adapter elbow)...so you could run fox equipment if you didnt have egr in place

is it possible to still use the egr with a modification to the intake or something else?

Technically, that's not wrong. But why would you want to go through all that trouble when it's easier (and probably cheaper) to simply buy the elbow adapter?

yea i really gotta say itll be simpler to just buy the elbow..the EGR does in fact deal with emissions and without it its possible you might not pass..on your 95 youll notice a tube coming up from the header tube..it goes to the egr valve on the intake. foxes still have it but yes..its somewhat different..its inbetween the throttle body and intake and theres no tube coming up.
