I got my 3.55's I bought from vfast put in for $150.00 at a local shop that deals mainly in mustang work. The work was excellent. They don't whine or roar at all. They are very quiet and put a little more punch in the accelerator.

if you use ford racing gears you can get away with your stock pinion shim. do it yourself, damn its pretty easy im only 19 and i did it myself. make sure your backlash is ok tho. and you need a speedo gear.

Jason,

How do you like the 3.55's. I cruise the freeway at about 85mph at approx 2300rpm (with 3.08). What do you get from the 3.55's?Also are you happy withthe gear choice,or do you wish you went to 3.73's?

Thanks

My car is an automatic with the AODE and it spins about 2500 r's at65 mph. Of course my speedometer is off a little cause I didn't have the speedo gear put in but I used my GPS to get a mph reading. I really like them and I think that 3.73's would have been a little too much for me since I drive mine every day. If you have an automatic and it's your daily driver I would most definetly go with the 3.55 gears. Hope this helps, Jason
