Default how to set fuel pressure, and help me pick a kit

so i just installed my 255lbh high pressure pump, car's running stronger, i can feel it, but i need to set my pressure too.

im planning on buying this fuel pressure regulator.

and i need a guage, but i have no clue what type i need!

this is the one i was thinking of getting, but it hooks to the Schrader valve, idk if thats ok
http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/41016/10002/-1#

will these work fine?
how do i set my pressure?

where should my pressure be at for my current mod's?
(might bump my shot up to a 125-150 now that im set up for it)

I have that regulator for 6 years now and it works great. just take off the vacuum line and adjust with a flat head, dont have to use a wrench and allen like the others. I would get that gauge too, I think all gauges hook off the schrader valves, mine does andit works great. Especially that fitting with that gauge, it has 2 exit ports so you can run a gauge and a nitrous kit at the same time.

also could someone tell me how to set the pressure correctly, and what my pressure should be at for my mod's?

Yes it would be perfectly fine to hook them up together. When I had my NX wet kit on I had the same kind of fitting, gauge in 1 hole fuel line in the other. To set the oressure remove the vacuume line ( you will have to anyway with that regulator) turn the screw with a flat head and watch the gauge. Screw it in pressure goes up, screw it out pressure goes down. You HAVE to have a gauge with an adjustable regulator. As far as pressure mine is set at 39-40 and when I had my NX on when I was squeezing I uped it up to 55psi just to make sure I was getting enough fuel. Never drive it around with the pressure up that high, just turn it up when your are squeezing.

about hte pressure i would ask around more

becuase upping the pressure that high isn't giving hte engine more fuel, its taking away fuel i beleive...

think about it like taking a garden hose and putting your thumb over the end, and taking another onewith nothing blocking it, stick em in a bucket and the one with no thumb over it will fill up faster.

i dont think that would be the case with this fuel pump.

a 255 pump is for high hp, im putting out maybe 250hp n/a, prob 330-350hp on the spray.

plus its a high pressure pump! not a regular 255
